Moa

Moa is a primary supporting character and the essential companion to Dean Moore and the other chosen warriors in their battle against the Sea God. As a mythical creature based on the extinct moa bird, he possesses supernatural tracking abilities that are vital to the survival of the group. He also has big giant wings. He can also orb from one place to the next.

Moa serves as the group's "radar." His primary role is to detect the presence of the Sea God's monsters and his devoted followers before they can launch an ambush. Without Moa’s heightened senses, the warriors would be unable to navigate the dangers posed by the Sea God’s influence.

He once had a younger sister named Emeus.

Paul Moore

Paul Moore is Dean’s biological father and took on the role of adoptive father to Katrina. He also has a brother named Harold.

Even though he’s the spitting image of Dean, you’d be surprised if you met him because his personality is actually much more like Vikki’s. It sounds like he has that specific energy or temperament that sets him apart from how he looks on the outside.

Professionally, he’s in the corporate world working for a banking company. In his personal time, he has some very specific interests—he's pretty open about his collection of Playboy magazines and adult content.

Harold Moore

Harold Moore is the kind of man who leaves a trail of wreckage wherever he goes, and if you talk to anyone who knew the family, they’ll tell you he was the dark shadow hanging over his younger brother, Paul. For a while, Harold was actually living under the same roof as Paul once he got out of jail after his first two rapes a few years before. He wasn't just a difficult roommate; he was a predator using that house as a hunting ground. He had this sick habit of bringing women back there, women he was actively victimizing and raping.

What made Harold truly dangerous, though, was the twisted way he saw himself. He didn't just think he was above the law; he genuinely believed he was Jesus Christ. He walked around with this messianic delusion, demanding that everyone around him treat him like a god and worship him. It wasn't just a quirk; he used that "divine" authority to justify the horrific things he did to people. He used his religion as a weapon to keep people in line and to satisfy his own ego.

Katrina Moore
