~Chapter Twenty ~

Katrina was sitting at the table with Lancer. They both were eating. "I need to get to school soon. You should stay here and don't go outside." Lancer tells her.

   "Why not?" She asks confused.

"You will be forced to go back home and be lied too again. Do you want that?" Lancer tells her. She looks down.

"I don't want to be lied to... I don't want to be forced to go back... But... at the same time, I really do... miss them." Katrina admits. "Are you sure... they don't care about me?"

"No, dear. They only see you as a replacement. Dean knows about it his deceased sister and only sees you as a replacement for her. Your true self doesn't exist. Remember that." Lancer got up and puts his dishes into the sink. "I will be going now." Lancer left the house. Katrina finished up her food and puts the dishes into the sink.

"Is he really telling me the truth? I know I was adopted. But... does Dean really know that? Is he really thinking of me as a replacement for his deceased sister? And what about dad? I mean, Paul. He isn't thinking I am a replacement to his daughter, is he?" Katrina was looking around the house. "He has to be, he renamed me." Katrina went into Lancer's bedroom.

"Lancer tells me he cares about me and that he loves me, but is that right? He used to sometimes help tutor me besides he's, my teacher. But... at the same time I wonder if that's even right of him to have feelings for me? I am much younger than him. I did have a crush on him but this feels too weird."

Lancer made it to school and was in the teacher's lounge. "I have successfully kidnapped the girl." Lancer tells a group of people sitting in the room. Jenny walks over to him.

"This is wonderful news. Soon the Sea God can be born!" Jenny said with a smile.

"Being born? But I thought your son is the reincarnation of Daudsau God or whatever the fuck his name is pronounced? Wait but you told me your son's name is Nathaniel?" Damien asks Jenny.

"He is, but he's only human. Yes in the past he was born human to. He was a chosen vessel to the God stone to become the Daudsau, the Sea God. it failed because of the Great Blis stole it. Now again he has to be born human again like in the present. Like I you should of already knew this already sherlock. In order to be a powerful God, he needs to be reborn again as the God I should know I seen it in a vision. Now stop fucking asking me this already."

"Is she really the one? The one to birth the Sea God?" Damien asks Jenny.

"I had a dream and the Sea God spoken to me in the dream. He showed me this girl Katrina and that's why Lancer was ordered to kidnap her." Jenny responds. Nathniel appears into the room.

"This is correct. Mother Jenny speaks the truth." Nathinal said to his followers in the room. "I sense something about this Katrina girl and I believe she could be the one. The one to birth me."

"That would be totally amazing!" Jenny held her hands together happily.

"When should we prepare for your birth? When will this girl get pregnant?" Damien asks the Sea God.

"Pregnant? I'm not talking about physically being birth, I'm talking about my awakening you idiot! Now, I still need more bloodshed. I need more souls. In order for me to become the ultimate God I need more. I am pleased with the souls you have collected so far. But I am still very weak and need more power. I need for you to send more monsters out to gather me more souls."

"Very well, master. But do you think Dean and his little friends will get in the way?" Damien asks.

"Him and his friends are a nuisance. I give you permission to kill them. I have no such needs for foolish humans that dare to define me!" The people in the room bowed before Nathaniel. He smiles devilishly.

Dean was sitting at his desk in school. "I hope Katrina is okay." Dean thought to himself. He started to feel sleepy and he wasn't sure why. He tried to keep his eyes opened but they wanted to close. Soon he laid his head on the desk and fell asleep.

"HELP ME!" A girl yelled. It was one of Katrina's friends. She ran into the woods to get away from a monster. It was chasing her.

"I got to save her!" Dean thought to himself. He opened his eyes and noticed his teacher standing next to him.

"I don't know who you need saving because you should've saved yourself from falling asleep in my class." It was Mrs. Layden.

"Eh?!" Dean felt embarrassed. He blushes. "I am sorry."

"Class is over now, don't fall asleep in my class anymore." Mrs. Layden tells Dean and walks away from him.

"Dean, I know you're worried about Katrina. I am sure she will show up soon." Vikki said. Dean looked down.

"I hope so. I had a dream about a girl running from a monster. It was one of Katrina's friends. I don't know if it's one of those dreams warning me what's going to happen."

"You think a monster is planning to hurt one of Katrina's friends?" Vikki asks. Dean nods.

"I am not wrong about this, I had a dream about a little girl and it came true. What should we do?" Dean looks at Vikki. "I don't know if I can save her. I don't want to reveal anything to her. Same with you."

"We need to talk to Moa." Vikki stood up and Dean also did. Everyone was changing classes but Dean and Vikki didn't go to class. Instead, they went into the boys' restroom.

"Moa!" Dean said in a whisper. He was hoping that Moa would appear so he can talk to him about the problem. Moa did appear.

"What do you two need?" Moa asks.

"I had a dream! I accidently passed out in class and dreamed about a girl running away from a monster!"

"A premonition?" Moa asked. Dean nods.

"I think it could've been... but there's a problem. I know the girl and I feel like if she sees me, I would have to reveal everything to her. She knows Vikki too and I am sure she might know Leeann." Dean explains to Moa. "Can you tell Leeann about this? Or Jill? Or even Bradrick and Brandonlee? I don't want that poor Alivia to be hurt!"

   "Alright. I will." Moa disappeared.

"That's all we can do." Vikki stared at Dean who looked like he was still upset. "Are you still thinking about Katrina?"

"Yes, I am worried that a monster could possibly hurt her. I don't want that to happen!" Dean looked like he was about to cry.

"You think your sister would easily get hurt from a monster? Ha, I bet she can easily nag it to death." Vikki laughed a little. He was trying to make a joke to get Dean to laugh. Dean didn't find it amusing.

"I am really worried about her." Dean left the restroom. Vikki follows him as they go to their next class.

Since Leeann and Jill also knew Alivia, they couldn't be the ones to save her. Instead Bradrick and Brandonlee were sent. Moa didn't have no one else he knew he could send to help Alivia. Just as Dean dreamed, Alivia was being chased and ran into the woods. She was scared to death.

"Someone help!" She yelled. Moa had appeared Bradrick and Brandonlee there in just in time. They had their swords already with them and they both attacked the monster. Alivia saw them attacking the monster. She was nervous and scared, she just quickly got up and ran out of the woods. Not even going to thank both of them.

"I really wanted to stay in class, Moa. I love algebra." Bradrick said to Moa as soon as he and Brandonlee defeated the monster.

"There was no other way. That girl doesn't know you two, does she?" Moa asks.

"When's lunch? I want hamburgers." Was all Brandonlee had to say about it. Their swords disappeared and Moa took them back to school.

Katrina didn't leave Lancer's house the whole day. She was sitting inside watching TV and taking small naps. She felt like things were just different. "I don't understand why my dad, I mean Paul, would change my name and think of me as a replacement. But... He was never mean to me. I am so confused." Katrina looked down. She felt upset knowing what Lancer told her. What she thought was the truth. She started to feel like her whole life was just a lie.

"I don't want my father being that crazy man, Harold! Crazy uncle Harold! He was arrested before for doing stupid crap!" Katrina couldn't believe the fact that Harold was her real father. Not Paul. She was still surprised about it. What also surprised her was the fact that Dean was her cousin. She was renamed sometime after birth and was raised to be Dean's older sister. But this was simply not true, she was really his cousin. Lancer explained it all to her which was still a little confusing.

The front door opened. Lancer was home. School was over for the day and all the students and even teachers wasn't in school anymore. Lancer seen her sitting on the sofa looking upset.

"What is the matter, dear?" Lancer asks her.

"I am still upset... That my family doesn't even like me. They only think of me as a replacement for a dead person." Katrina started to cry.

"Sometimes the truth hurts." Lancer walks over to her. He bends down to touch her face. "Don't worry. I will never think of you such." Katrina began to blush as she stared at him.

Dean got home. Feeling worried about Katrina. Moa appeared. "That girl was saved." Moa tells him.

"That's good, Moa, is Katrina alright? Can't you take me to her? I am worried."

"Try not to worry." Moa could tell that Dean looked upset. He wasn't even sure what to say to him. Vikki came into the bedroom and sat his backpack down on the floor.

"I bet Katrina is just asking for attention that's why she ran off. The cops will find her and she probably will be in a lot of trouble." Vikki slammed down on his bed.

"What if a monster gets a hold of her before that? Then what?"

"If a monster tries to attack her, I am sure one of us would have to kill the monster. Simple as that. Your dreams will tell you if she's in danger, right?"

   "Maybe so."

"I don't know what to say to Dean. He looks upset but Katrina should come back. I have faith that she will." Moa thought to himself and disappeared.

At Leeann's home, she was looking at her nails. Jill had come over and was sitting in the bedroom with her. "I think i do need them trimmed a little and a new paint job. All this monster business has ruined my nails." Leeann complained.

"It's not that bad. At least we're helping people." Jill said. "I am glad that Alivia is okay too."

"Yeah, I know. Those monsters like to ruin my day and time. I better not be fighting till I am an adult. I got to have a life to." Jill just laughed a little at what Leeann had to say.

"I am sure we will have everything solved before we're adults."

"We better or Moa is gonna be my babysittter if I have any children."
