~Chapter Thirty~

   Dean had gotten up and dashed to get his sword. He grabs it and ends up tripping onto the ground again. "He really is a stupid." Damien thought to himself as he watched Dean from a afar. Jenny teleported next to Damien.

   "This is Jenny, and I say you're the fool." She said to him. He glares.

   "Back off! I know what I am doing!"

   "You don't. Watch. That boy will defeat these monsters. He defeated Randel. He's got incredible power. If we were to retrieve his soul, it will give our master great power." Jenny says to Damien.

   "I know that! Why do you think that I am trying to kill him now?!"

   "Those monsters aren't strong enough." Jenny laughed.

   "Hey! I made this force field! And he can't use his powers so what to do you mean?!" Damien snaps at Jenny. She stopped laughing and stared at him. She was surprised at what he had told her.

   "Really? He can't use his powers?" She asks. He nods. "This is amazing! He surely will die then!" Jenny smiled even bigger. Dean got back up.

   "I won't let you kill me!" Dean says and charged at a monster. He stabs it. The monster disappeared into dust.

   "Eugh! How dare you kill my brothers!" One of the monsters yelled and pushes Dean down again. Dean got back up. He had scrapes all over him along with scratches. He didn't want to give up. He wanted to defeat these monsters and make it back home safe and sound. There were only two more monsters left he had to get rid of.

   "Alright! I got two more! I can do this!" Dean thought to himself. Jenny glares at Damien now.

   "You asshole! You don't know anything!" She slaps him and then disappears. Damien felt angry with Jenny.

   "This is why I hate women!" Damien felt like he wanted to attack Jenny or yell at her.

   "Take this!" Dean charged at another monster and splits it in half. It disappeared into dust. Dean stared back at the last monster. "You're next!" Dean had to stab the monster eight times before it died and turned to dust. As soon as he did, the force field disappeared. Dean's sword was gone. He saw two people walking by.

   "Where did that kid come from?" A man whispers.

   "Let's go." The woman said. They walked away. Dean looked around.

   "I am back? Where was I to begin with?" Dean wondered. Damien was angry with Dean. He disappears.

   "I should go back home." Dean began to go back home. When he got there, Vikki was at the door.

   "Where have you been?" Vikki asked.

   "Remember? I went to Fred's home." Dean reminds him. "On my way back, I was attacked by some monsters. But I got rid of them."

   "Oh yeah... I forgot you went to their house... Monsters?" Vikki was just confused a little. Moa appears.

   "Should you be out? Is dad home?" Dean asks.

   "No. Your dad isn't home." Vikki answered Dean.

   "That's good." Dean stared at Moa with a serious face. "There's something I need to tell you and you must warn the others."

   "What is it?" Moa asks.

   "The Sea God Followers did something where I was somewhere else or something and I couldn't use my power. I had to rely on my sword without my wind power." Dean tries to tell Moa.

   "Something where you were somewhere... That sounds familiar." Moa started to think about it.

   "Does it mean anything?" Vikki asks.

   "Yes! In the past, The Sea God Followers used to use a force field sometimes to try to kill us off one by one. But I fixed that. I will do it again." Moa snaps his fingers.

   "What did you do?" Vikki asked.

   "I made it where all of you can use your powers if they try to put you in that force field." Moa explains.

"   Really?! I got a power too?!" Vikki asked surprised.

   "Yes you do, but not right now. You have to wait Vikki. You see... you need a partner and you share similar powers. Well... kind of similar..." Moa started to think. "You know... you were the king. You have to wait for the queen... But she is here now... but... you have to wait for her to be able to heal with her hands. Right now she has to rely on a rod. Didn't I explain this to you already, you moron?"

   "HEY!" Vikki glared. Katrina came down the steps and went by the front door to see Dean, Vikki, and Moa.

   "What's going on?" She asked.

   "Shouldn't you be in bed?" Moa asked her.

   "Shut up! You can't tell me what to do you wings, annoying buzzard.

   "She's so hot when she insults." Vikki thought to himself and blushed.

   "Well, excuse me." Moa disappeared.

   "Katrina, you really outta be in bed. You don't want you cold to get worse." Dean tells her.

   "Fine, fine." Katrina and Dean went upstairs. Dean walked Katrina to her bedroom.

   "It's really great that you're a part of the team too!" Dean smiled.

   "I don't want to be." Katrina looked down.

   "I know it may seem scary, but please... Let's do this together. Leeann acts like she doesn't want to team up with us but I don't know why. She's an incredible fighter! Same with Jill too! I can't forget Bradrick and Brandonlee!"

   "Jill... Leeann... They are too... Chosen ones..." Katrina mumbles. Katrina remmeber Moa mention about them both being apart of the team.

   "That's correct! I am sure we all will be a good team together soon and whip that Sea God's butt!" Dean felt confident in himself.

   "I am going to rest. Alright?"

   "Okay! You get your sleep! I hope you get better tomorrow!" Dean ran off.

   "He's so full of energy... I wish I had all that energy." Katrina went to lay down in bed.

   The next few days seemed fine for them. No monsters. It felt like things were normal, but Dean was wondering if the Sea God's Followers were planning something. Katrina got over her cold and had gone back to school. She was shocked. She couldn't believe that Lancer was not there. In the class that he teached.

   "I am your new teacher for the year." A man said. "I am Mr. Layden. You may know my twin sister, Mrs. Layden. The bitch that yelled at me this morning for going to work as a teacher because I don't have a degree in any education. Don't tell anyone I said that." The man did look like Mrs. Layden. He was her twin brother after all.

   "Where's Lancer?" Katrina thought to herself. A student raised their hand.

   "Yes, little toad?" Mr. Layden asked the guy that put his hand in the air.

   "Uh... Well... Where's Mr. Trevors?" The guy asks. Katrina wanted to know too.

   "Mr. Trevors? Why are you so curious about that loser?" Mr. Layden came over to the boy. "Could it be you have a secret crush?" He chuckles.

   "No! Ew!" The guy was grossed out.

   "Now, anyone that asks me about Mr. Trevors will get their tongue cut off. And if you tell your parents I will take you and your parents somewhere and murder you all." Mr. Layden threatened. Everyone wasn't sure if he was joking or not. They started to feel scared. He laughed. "Come on, you believe that?" Mr. Layden went back to the front of the class.

   "He makes me feel uneasy for some reason." Katrina thought to herself. Something about Mr. Layden just seemed weird to her, she wasn't sure why. At the same time, she was worried about Lancer. She and him sort of bonded while she was together with him, and now she felt worried about him. She hoped he was okay.

   After class Katrina was putting a paper into her binder. "Katrina, I want you to stay after class for a minute." Mr. Layden said.

   "O-Okay." Katrina felt nervous. The class left. She was the only one in the classroom now with Mr. Layden. "Is something the matter? Did I do something wrong in class?"

   "Don't you want to know what happened to Mr. Trevors? You know, Lancer?" Mr. Layden asked with a smile upon his face. Katrina stood up. Her heart started to beat fast.

   "Y-You're a part of that stupid Sea God Followers, aren't you?!" Katrina asked feeling scared.

   "Very clever. You think I am going to kill you?" Mr. Layden asked her. He walks towards her. Katrina walked back.

   "Stay away!"

   "I have no purpose to hurt you. I mean, I know all of us want to kill you all off one by one, but... You're pretty cute." Mr. Layden pulled her close to him. She pushes him.

   "NO!" Katrina cried.

   "Well, you shouldn't worry about Lancer, your boyfriend."

   "Is he...alive?" Katrina asks.

   "He is. He got a punishment and The Sea God wants him to stay in his place for the time being. To remind him not to fall in love with enemies and in the meantime, I will be the new teacher." Mr. Layden smiled.

   "He's...He's being punished because of me?" Katrina started to feel upset and guilty.

   "You better get to your next class." Mr. Layden walks away from her.

   "Lancer..." Katrina mumbles to herself.
