~Chapter Fourteen ~

Leeann was sitting on a chair staring at her mirror. She was brushing her hair. "I remember when I first started killing those monsters. When I heard I was an Amazon in my past life. It all happened in Summer..."

"But mom I don't want to take Peyton to that stupid museum! Why does he want to go anyways?! Why can't Brandonlee take him or Bradrick?!"

"They got to be at work. I have to take Carlson to the doctors. Your dad is working. Leeann, you want to be a teenager, this is what teenagers do. They babysit. Besides, I told you I will pay you to take him to the museum."

"But mom! I had a day to spend with Jill and with my other friends Katrina and Alivia too! Can't you take him to the museum with Carlson after the doctor's appointment?" Leeann just didn't want to take her brother there.

"I can't. I am sorry, because after there I have to go straight to the grocery store. You know were running out of food. There's lots of people living here."

"$10 isn't' enough to take that little brat to the museum. Little boys are wild. And why does he want to go there anyways?" Leeann just couldn't understand why her little brother wanted to go there.

"You know he started getting interested in knights and stuff. Bugged me to get him that toy sword. Now he wants to learn about stuff like that. He wants to see the real items in that medival museum. Just take him. I have to go." Leeann's mom grabbed Carlson by the hand and left out of the house with him. She got into the car and left. Leeann was furious.

"Stupid little brother. Come on Peyton!" Leeann shouts. "I don't have all day!" Peyton came into the room.

"I'll tell mommy you yelled at me and had me cry and cry!" Peyton said and Leeann rolled her eyes.

"Let's just go to the museum. Take me away from my free time for summer. Little brothers. Brats." Leeann mumbles. Leeann and Peyton left the house together they was walking to the museum.

"After this I want to eat ice cream!" Peyton smiled.

"No. No ice cream. I don't got money for that."

"Yeah huh, you got money from mom! And I'm going to tell her that you were being so mean to me and left me at the museum!" Peyton said trying to get his way.

"I did not! That's lying!" Leeann was already annoyed with Peyton. They both made it to the museum. After once they arrived, they went into the building together. "I forgot to call up Jill and the girls to tell them about this." Leeann just remembered.

"Look at that!" Peyton ran over to a display. He was staring at a sword. "It is bigger than my sword!" Peyton said surprised. Leeann walks over to him.

"Shh! Keep it down!" Leeann tried to keep her brother quiet. Peyton went to look at shields that was at another display near the swords. Leeann looked at the swords. "I seen that sword before... In a dream..." Leeann thought to herself as she stared at it. It was a little different from the rest. It had a bird on the part where you hold it. "Why did I dream of it?" Leeann felt different as she stared at the sword. "An Amazon..." Leeann whispers. "An Amazon? What am I saying?" Leeann wondered. "This sword was used by an Amazon." Leeann read in her head as she stared at the sword. The sword vanished. "W-What the?!" Leeann went over to Peyton.

"Hey Leeann, where did one of the shields go? It just vanished?" Peyton asks.

"Let's just get out of here." Leeann wanted to leave. She didn't feel right. Leeann and Peyton left the museum. When they were leaving out of the building, they saw a monster.

"Sissy! A monster!" Peyton points. He started to get scared. Leeann couldn't believe her eyes.

"Let's get out of here!" Leeann grabs Peyton's hand and they ran off. It didn't take them long into they both made it home. "That was just really weird!"

"Will we be okay from the monster?" Peyton asks his sister.

"Yeah, no monster is going to come here. They will smell Brandonlee's socks and run." Leeann tried to make a joke to help Peyton not feel scared. "I am going to my bedroom. Why don't you go play with your toys or something." Leeann left and went upstairs. Peyton followed and went to her bedroom with her. "I said go play with your toys. Not in my bedroom. Now shoo." Leeann tells her little brother.

   "But the monster..."

"The monster isn't coming here." Leeann tells him and closes her bedroom door. "Little kids are so weird these days." Leeann sat down on her bed and started to think of the weird day that she was having. "First a sword and shield disappear. I don't know if anything else disappeared out of there but that was weird. Then a monster? Why did I see that?" Leeann just couldn't figure out what all just had happened. She was trying to think it through and think of logical explanations. But there was none. She couldn't think of anything. All she could think was that she knew what she saw and she wasn't crazy.

Just then something with wings appears before Leeann. She couldn't believe her eyes. "EH?!" She backed to the wall on her bed. "W-What are you?!" She asks. A winged man was standing in front of her.

"I am 'Moa'." He said. "You have business you need to take care of."

"Huh? This isn't Halloween! Now get out of my room you freak!" Leeann threw her pillow at Moa. He grabs it and tosses it on the floor.

"Halloween? What? No. I am a winged creature. I am a different species, aren't I? I am the last of my kind now."

"Just who are you?!" Leeann asked.

"I just told you, my name. Are your death?" She glares at him.

"I don't have time for this!" She gets up off her bed and went to her door. "I will leave this bedroom and go call the cops if you don't leave!" Leeann snaps at Moa.

"Cops? What are you talking about? I came here to tell you that you're a chosen one. Chosen to fight the Sea God."

   "You're insane!"

"No, I am not. I really wished Dean would've been first to discover this instead of you." Moa mumbles and then stared right at Leeann. "You're an Amazon. You were an Amazon in your previous life. You were up against a Sea God. You were reborn to defeat the Sea God. Complete your task you couldn't before in your previous life."

"You're lying!" Leeann didn't want to believe it.

"If I was lying, haven't you had dreams of a sword? You just can't make out the dreams, but you have been dreaming of it. That's your past trying to tell you that it's your job. Your mission to fight the Sea God. You have to defeat the Sea God's followers and the monsters they send out."

"Why should I do it?" Leeann didn't want to fight.

"Because, you along with many more have been chosen for this task. The Sea God's followers send out monsters because they want bloodshed and souls in order for the Sea God to be born into this world." Moa tries to explain to Leeann.

"This is just fake!" Leeann still didn't even want to believe it.

"Close your eyes and believe to fight. You will have your sword appear to you. Do it." Moa wanted to prove to Leeann that she was chosen. Leeann closes her eyes. Her sword appears into her hands. She opened her eyes.

"W-What the?!" Leeann couldn't believe it. She seen the same sword in her hands that disappeared into the museum. The moment she holds it a gosh wind blew but only last few seconds. Then it was still again. "Why do I have this sword?! Was it stolen?!"

"No. It's rightfully yours." Moa answers. "You saw that monster. You need to destroy it before it harms innocent people."

   "W-What?! I can't do that!"

"You can with that sword." Moa grabs Leeann and disappears with her. He appears her to the monster.

"I don't want to fight that! And no man can tell me what to do!"

"Just fight it!" Moa yelled at her. The monster tried to attack Leeann. She dodged it and fell to the floor.

"Ow..." She looked at the monster. "Alright." She stood up. "I can do this." She uses her strength to charge at the monster. The monster grabs her and swung her.

"You really are weak." Moa says staring at Leeann. She glares at him.

"How about you fight him then?!" Leeann yelled at Moa.

"You have to fight it." Leeann starts attacking the monster. After two stabs the monster turned to dust.

"What just happened?" Leeann asks. Moa smiles at her.

"You did it! You defeated the monster!"

"I did?" Leeann couldn't believe it. "Why am I really doing this? Do I have to take orders from you?!"

"You are doing this because you were chosen. Even chosen in your past life. You couldn't complete your mission in your past life, so now you have to complete it in your present." Moa tells Leeann. She didn't understand it at all. She didn't like taking orders from some winged guy, but she didn't hate the feeling destroying a monster.

"I guess I can do this, as long as you don't keep bugging me. Because some days I like to get my hair and nails done and go shopping." Leeann says and Moa sighs.

"I can't deal with her, but I need to. I really can't wait till the guys start showing up." Moa mumbles.

Leeann stopped thinking of that day and sat her brush down. "That really was a weird day. I am happy to actually be doing something. An Amazon in my past life must've been great." Leeann said and stood up from her chair. She went to her bed and sat down. She saw a book on her bed. It was a book that she gotten out of the library talking about Amazons in the medieval times. The book fascinated her. She opened it up and started to read where she left off.

“Also, as soon as I learn the ability to sense them monsters Moa was surprised. I sure showed him I wasn’t an ordinary girl. I want to know more about my past self. My past life. I want to know everything.”
