~Chapter Twenty-Five~

   Vikki didn't move. He just stared at Moa, his face dead serious. The dream felt too real to be just a dream. He needed to know the truth about the past, the armor, and why Katrina had been there with him. He waited, his silence demanding an answer. 

   "Moa, tell me. Did Katrina have a healing power in the past? Does she in the present?" Vikki asks. Moa took a deep breath.

   "Yes, but sadly not like she used to."

   "What do you mean?" Vikki asks.

   "Well, she hasn't been trained with it growing up. Therefore, she can't do it with her hands anymore. She used to be able to heal people with her hands, but she forgot all about it when she was reborn. She is unaware that she has a healing ability. But she cannot do it."

   "You mean she isn't chosen anymore?" Vikki asked.

   "I didn't say that. She just can't use her healing ability all on her own anymore. She needs a rod to help her heal, but in due time she should be able to use her hands to heal again." Moa explains to Vikki.

   "But why didn't you awaken her yet for her memories? Why wasn't she allowed yet?"

   "I think she's remembering little by little on her own as I hoped for. She didn't need me to help her and right now..."

   "Right now, she's with that damn Lancer! Is she supposed to be with that asshole?! I don't get it!" Vikki got off his bed.

   "In the past, she did ran off but for a differnt reason. I am unsure what is going on with her right now though, but I do believe that she's been having dreams. Dreams of her past life."

   "Katrina was adopted! She isn't Dean's real sister! I think she ran away because of this!"

   "Maybe so, but in Katrina's past life, she wasn't Dean's sister. She was his cousin. I wonder if she still is in this life time? But I am not even sure that was her name?" Moa said and wondered.

"And I want to know..." Vikki started to blush. "Why...Why do I sometimes have dreams of Katrina and me? Kissing and..." Vikki felt embarrassed. Moa chuckles a little.

   "That's because in your two's past life you were an item! She was a princess that was in love with a warrior, a knight. Funny isn't it? She became queen and you eventually became king. You two were going to have a baby together but then the Sea God was causing trouble and drama."

   "W-What?!" Vikki felt his heart beat fast. "B-But! She's with that Lancer guy! She doesn't even like me right now! I don't get it!"

   "Sometimes things change. I mean, in this life time you two might not be lovers like you once were in your past life. Jill is one that can't be with who she loved in her past life."

   "What are you saying?" Vikki asks.

   "There are things that change over time. Things you can't help when you get reborn. For Jill, if she begins to remember more of her past, she will probably feel weird to know who she liked before. It will be really strange for her because in this life time she can't be together with him."

   "Can't I be with Katrina?! I love her! I have been in love with her for a long time now!" Vikki blurts out. His face was red. Really red.

   "That's for you and Katrina to decide. I can't force you two together." Moa responded.

   "Katrina..." Vikki looks down. "That Lancer guy won't hurt her would he?"

   "I am not sure. You know where she is? Why didn't you bring her here? Dean is worried about her."

   "I don't know. I don't want to confront her right now." Vikki admits. He felt like he was hurt from Lancer and her being together.

   The red hair girl that was at the park was in the cave with the Sea God's followers. "You need to give the monsters more power. They need to be stronger. They are so weak and that's why they are easily defeated." The red hair girl said to Damien.

   "I am giving them power! You should be silence or I will kill you and give your soul to our master!" Damien snaps at the girl.

   "Calm down, Damien." Jenny said as she walked in the cave. "This girl only speaks truth. You should listen to Lucille." The red hair girl's name was 'Lucille'.

   "But how can I give them more power when I gave them all that I could?!" Damien asks. Nathaniel appears into the cave.

  "I will grant you more power," Nathaniel said. "You should be able to defeat them now."

   He stepped closer, his eyes cold. "I am also tasking you to murder more people. I am feeling very weak and need power. Collect more souls for me."

   "I see, very well master. Thank you." Damien bows.

   "Now, Lancer should be here with the girl. You think that this girl could possibly the one?" Jenny asks her master.

   "I am certain but not 100% sure. Even the dream. I saw bits and pieces of her. That's why I need Lancer to bring her here. If she is not the one that I am looking for we will simply kill her. There will be no need for her."

   Katrina felt nervous. "What do you mean you want me to meet someone?" Katrina asks.

   "There's someone you have to meet. Just to see if you're the one."

   "So that woman was talking about me! What do you plan to do to me?!" Katrina asked. She felt scared and just wanted to run away.

"Nothing, I hope. Now come," Lancer said, his grip tightening as he grabbed her hand.

   Katrina hesitated, her heart racing. She wasn't sure if she should trust him, but she didn't have much choice as he pulled her along. He led her deep into the shadows until they reached the cave where the Sea God followers gathered.

The air inside was heavy and cold. As she looked at the strange faces watching her from the darkness. She felt completely uneasy being there. 

   "Is she the one?" A man asked. Katrina only glanced at him and noticed he looked somewhat familiar to her.

   "Possibly. I need to show her to our master." Lancer replied to the man.

   "Oh! Come this way." The man said and took them both to a door. "He's in there." The man tells them. Lancer and Katrina go inside the door.

   "That man... he looked familiar. Where did I see him before?" Katrina wondered. "Wait... He's a teacher in school..." Katrina thought to herself. She wasn't sure what was going on and why Lancer wanted her to meet someone. She wasn't even sure why they were in a cave. It felt too odd to her. She was wondering if she was dreaming. Nathaniel stares at Katrina. He had cold look to his eyes that made her felt a shiver. 

   "Ew... What is that?" Katrina thought to herself.

   "I brought the girl. Like you asked me to." Lancer responds.

   "Come, let me see you up closer." Nathaniel said to Katrina. She walks over slowly.

   "W-Who are you?" She asked shaking a little.

   "EUGH!" Nathaniel was furious. He was glaring now. "THIS ISN'T THE GIRL! WE GOT THE WRONG GIRL!" Some of the people that were in the room were speechless.

   "Gasp! I am sorry master!" Jenny apologized.

   "THIS ISN'T THE GIRL! GET RID OF HER! KILL HER!" Katrina couldn't believe what she heard. She quickly ran to the door and opened it. She wanted to get out of there. The faster, the better. She started having people chase her.

   "What's going on here?! I thought Lancer said I would be okay?! Did he lie to me?!" Katrina thought to herself. She trips and falls. She started to cry. She felt confused, scared, and didn't even know what was all going on. She didn't even know where to go. Lancer came over to her.

   "Kill her!" Jenny yelled at Lancer.

   "Stand." Lancer tells her.

   "You tricked me! Didn't you?!" Katrina asks. Lancer didn't respond. She stood up. "I can't believe you! I trusted you!" Katrina kept crying.

   "Kill her!" Jenny encouraged Lancer.

   "Be quiet, Jenny." Lancer said. "I will." Lancer takes Katrina's hand. He could tell she was trembling. Scared in fear. He brought her close to him.

   "I don't understand why he isn't killing her! If I had a dagger or something I would do it!" Damien said glaring.

   "You do realize you can summon monsters, right?" Jenny asks Damien. He glared at her. Katrina wasn't sure, what Lancer was doing.

  "Run. Go home." He whispers to her and lets her go. She walks backwards and then takes off running.

   "Why are you letting her go?!" Jenny asks.

   "It's much more fun to chase her. It's a thrill to me." Lancer responds to Jenny.

   "Well, you better kill her! Or Nathaniel will not have it!" Jenny and Damien walks away. Lancer went to go looking for Katrina. He found her confused on where to go when she was near the exit.

   "L-Lancer?" She stares at him confused.

   "Come this way." He tells her. He helps take her out of the cave.

   "Why did you help me?" Katrina asks him. "Are you really letting me go?"

   "I am letting you go. I am doing this because I love you, Katrina." Lancer said and touched her face. "Go home where you belong."

   "But they see me as a replacement!" Katrina cries.

   "You only can go home. That's all you can do. Don't stick around me." Lancer brought her close to him.

   She was confused why he hugged her again. He bends and kisses her lips. She wasn't sure how to react.

   He parts and walks back into the cave. Katrina stared at the cave for a few seconds and then ran off.
