~Chapter Eighteen ~

During the bus ride home, all the students were acting up on the bus. "You're such a little ugly girl!" Lizzie rudely says to Veronica. Veronica glares at her.

"Shut up, tramp!" Veronica was sitting crossed from Lizzie. She reached over and was going to punch her. The bus went over a pothole in the road and Veonica fell out of her seat and into Lizzie's seat.

"Get out of my seat you nasty girl! Trying to flirt with me I swear!" Lizzie pushes Veronica and made her land in another seat. The seat that was in front of the seat Veronicawas supposed to be sitting in. She landed right on Bradrick and Brandonlee.

"Woah. Babe in the seat!" Bradrick joked. Veronica just stared at them both.

"Uh... Hi..." She says and then got back up. She quickly sat back in her seat.

Alright, whoever is running in the aisle way. Don't." The bus driver said on the speaker of the bus.

"That's right you ugly little fat girl. You're so fat. I am skinny and beautiful. I even have big eyes." Lizzie said full of herself.

"Shut up." Veronica didn't want to hear it. Lizzie was always mean to Veronica. Almost every day.

It was time for Bradrick and Brandonlee to get off the bus. Carlson got off the bus as well. Lizzie got off the bus along with Veronica and some others. "Whoops." Lizzie pushes Veronica over. She made her fall. Lizzie laughed and walks away. Bradrick was caught up talking about hamburgers he didn't pay attention. He went into his house with Carlson. Brandonlee saw what happened. He walks over to Veronica. Held his hand out to her. She stared confused.

   "What?" She asks.

"Are you alright?" He asked her. Veronica just stood up without letting Brandonlee help her.

"Why does that girl pick on you?" Brandonlee asks.

"Because she's just a butthole." Veronica replies. "I hate her! Last week she ripped my pants and had the whole 8th grade making fun of me."

"Want to come over and hang? Do you like sports?" Brandonlee asks. "I like football."

"Same with me!" She smiles. "But is that weird? I am a girl after all. A lot of people pick on me because I am not into doing a lot of girl things. They think I like girls or something when I don't."

"No, that's not weird." Brandonlee smiled at her. They both went into the house together.

"You got a nice place here!" Veronica said amazed. "I live in a small apartment nearby."

"Want to come to my bedroom? Well, I share with my twin brother Bradrick. We both love cheeseburgers!" Brandonlee said. Veronica laughed a little. They went to the bedroom together. Leeann was sitting in her bedroom.

"Why did Dean have a power before me? I was doing this longer than him." Leeann wondered as she sat on her bed. She had gotten home a little earlier than her siblings because she had a doctor's appointment. She only was at school for just a little. After her appointment, her mom just took her home.

"Am I not strong?" Leeann wondered. "No! I am strong! But..." Leeann sighs. "I don't have a power... Maybe I won't get one, but Moa says that I will. Maybe a soothing bath will help me." Leeann got up and was getting something else to wear for when she gets out of the bath.

Brandonlee was showing Veronica his football and football jersey. Bradrick noticed Veronica in the bedroom when he walked in the bedroom.

"Hey, it's that babe that fell on us on the bus." Bradrick said.

"Stop calling me that!" Vernica snapped at Bradrick.

"Sorry. Geesh. Why are you showing her that stuff?" Bradrick asks.

"She likes football likes us. Also, she likes cheeseburgers!" Brandonlee said with a smile.

"Screw it! Let's play FOOTBALL!" Bradrick grabs Brandonlee's football and ran out the door.

"FOOTBALL!" Brandonlee grabs Veronica and ran out of the house with her. They started playing football with her.

Dean was worried about his sister. He was sitting in the living room with Vikki. His dad wasn't home. "Do you think we'll find Katrina? Why did she run off? I don't understand it. Do you think she really was mad that you started living here with us?" Dean asked Vikki.

"It couldn't have been me. I am a handsome happening guy." Vikki said full of himself.

"What? What's a happening guy? Vikki, we both know that you and Katrina fight all the time. She gets mad even when you came to hang back then. But... running away from that doesn't really seem like Katrina." Dean thought to himself. Paul had come home. Dean ran over to him. "Did you find Katrina?!"

"No. The police are searching everywhere to find her. So far, no leads. I just hope that Katrina is alright."

Vikki got up and left the living room. He went to Katrina's bedroom. "Why did you run away?" Vikki wondered. He saw Katrina's diary under her pillow. He turned to the last diary entries. Vikki was surprised reading it. "What? Being adopted? What?" Vikki couldn't make sense of it all. He puts the diary down and hides it back into Katrina's hiding place. "Was she adopted?" Vikki wondered. He left the bedroom. Dean and Paul were still downstairs talking about Katrina. Vikki sneaked into Paul's bedroom.

"This is something new to me. I want to know... Does Katrina speak the truth in her diary?" Vikki wondered.

Leeann got out of the tub. "Having a nice bath does make me feel better." Leeann smiled. "Maybe I should have a nice cup of cold tea to sooth me too." Leeann went into the kitchen. She happened to look out the window and saw her two brothers playing with someone in the rain. "What the? Who would play outside in the cold and in the rain?" Leeann wondered and decided to get herself some tea. She sits her drink on the table and then opened the door.

"Veronica is good at this game!" Bradrick says.

   "She amazes me!" Brandonlee said.

"They're playing football with a girl?" Leeann closes the door.

The principal was still in the school. "Oh dear, I been here too long. I better be heading home." The principal got up and was holding his briefcase. He was leaving out the door when Damien appeared into the office. "Who are you?"

"Why I am the new principal. Now hand me your job!" Damien said with a smile.

"Are you nuts?!" The principal asks. Damien began to laugh. The principal started to scream but no one heard him.

Paul was still talking to Dean in the living room. "You know, I don't need to be nosy, but why do you have scratches and stuff on you?" Paul asked his son. Dean wasn't sure what to say.

"Well... I...uh..." Dean began to get nervous. He did just battle a lot of monsters last night, also Randel. A tougher monster than ever. "I got it when I fell in gym. You know me! I am not good at physical education!" Dean lies. He really didn't want to lie, but he had no choice. Dean got up and left the living room. He went into the kitchen.

"But I thought Dean was good at P.E.?" Paul wondered and then shrugs. "Katrina is more important right now. She's missing. I hope she is alright."

"Moa!" Dean tried to whisper. Moa appeared in the kitchen.

"What do you need?" Moa asks Dean.

"I don't know what to do. When I was out fighting Randel last night, I think that Katrina ran off. Do you know where she might be? I am worried about her." Dean says looking at Moa.

"This happened in the past before. Katrina ran off. But... I have faith it will fix its way this time then it did in the past." Moa thought to himself. He took a deep breath.

"Do you know where she is at? Is she okay?" Dean asks.

"No. I don't know where she is." Moa said. He couldn't tell Dean all from the past that did happen. Happen to Katrina. He didn't want to worry him and mistaken to happrn again. He had faith that it will fix itself.

"Oh..." Dean looks down. "I am worried about Katrina. I don't want her to be hurt. What if someone kidnapped her?!"

"Calm down, I am sure you will see her again and that everything will be okay." Moa tells Dean.
