AngelCake here, my real name is Jamie G. I work on josei illustrations. I enjoy drawing 80s and 90s illustrations and sometimes 70s. I love Kawai Japanese things even if I am an adult with children. I love medieval and space stuff Previous name @Red_Owl12/@azamisnow.

I was born in America.  I am the middle child. I was the first one out of my family to started drawing and at a very young age. It wasn't really because Sailor Moon was my first anime at 2 years old. It was because when I was in preschool, they had it in an elementary school. I remember this teenager was showing everyone she can draw Sailor Moon on stage. That day I said to myself "I can draw better". Ever since then I been drawing Shoujo manga art style. Yes, there was points in my life I believe I can't do it. When I was a girl. I was so upset I was getting books out of how to draw shoujo. I remember crying in my bedroom I shared with my younger sister, my dad heard me. He told he didn't say much but gave me a compliment and told me I looked like the manga character little girl crying in the how to draw books. He even told me it didn't take over night to get him to be a guitar player. I will always remember him telling me that. I stopped looking the books to realize I shouldn't be doing someone else's art. I felt like they weren't goanna show me what I want. Really in reality you post to develop your own art style.

To be honest I never relay on them books. It's because some say you can't do this and that when drawing. Some claim they can't have any names but Japanese and that's not true because of characters like Chun-Li, Godchild characters you get what I am saying? Some books claim girls have to be all the same height around same age and weight and not true in real life. Anything can be art is what I believe in. Tell yourself there is no right or wrong in what your manga art style looks like. It's your own art. If your struggling, I know the feeling. I had people tell me my eyes are too big, my characters teeth where so white they had cavities, my characters are a rip off the woman that draws from Full Moon o Sagashite art style to Saint Tales and blah blah blah. Really my art doesn't look like none of them. I started to draw WHAT I WANTED. Not what others like. I am keeping my art style. My final art style was found in 2022. I'll forever love it. 

My favorite anime is Cardcaptor Sakura. I love Clamps art so much. So very cute and Sakura is so adorable. I mainly like classic anime/shoujo. Not so much into new anime because I am so classic. 

You might already know about my medieval obsession. I really love the Legendary journeys Hercules/ Young Hercules and Xena the Warrior Princess.

Why isn't any of the characters weapons like how most magical characters having colors like pink, green and so on? - It's because it wouldn't feel like the weapon be from medieval is why I used original theme to the weapons; it has to feel real to me. The only colors are like that on the weapon because of their birthstone. Example Dean has a Garnet that's why it's like a dark red color. Even they have a partner it might feel the same weapon, might not be by the birth stone color. Only one I know has same color is the Beast Tamer.

Is any of the characters based on anyone you know in real life? - No. The only one that is based off anyone is Jenny and Nathaniel. I met these people in real life was talking weird like that about their son was a God and kept talking some Sea God. It's kind of the plot idea I used for this story. No, I do not talk to these people anymore because they were in some weird cult. Oh, and Olivia who I got her looks from, Miranda Cosgrove and astrology sign. Jenny's mother, Pearl her inspiration came from Dahlia Gillespie from Silent Hill.

Where the character ideas came from? - Most my characters appearance came from Resident Evil because I love the series along with Silent Hill, Galerians, Clock Tower. I can tell you my character Chuck is Steve Burnside inspired but the southern voice. Jill's name came from Jill. Same with Rebecca. Vikki's dad Victor is David King. I think it's funny that Vikki has the same hairstyle as Shigure when he is not wearing his kimono. Dean's hairstyle kind of reminds me of Jadeite and Wiegraf and Dean is not even a villain. Leeaan appearance from Ashley Quinlan and Grant appearance came from Ralf from Kof and name came from Slade son Grant. 

Did any of the characters had other names before the names were decided? - Yes, Veronica's name used to be named Bianca. Sylvie named used to be Sadie. Katrina used to be named Jayme. Dusty used to be named Lance. Karen used to be named from Diane but changed it for Paul's decided wife because of Dean's name is the same as Diane.  

Why I choose the year 1997 to be the year the Sea God comes? - Chose the year because at end of February and beginning of March there was this flood that happen in Ohio in New Richmond. 12 inches of rainfall over a short period of time. It may not be the biggest in history but no one in the story remembers how bad it was.

Who's my favorite characters from the Chosen Ones? - This one is easy because I used to draw her a lot back then. I love Leeann the most out of the females. Out of the males I really like between Grant, Dean, and Vikki. 

Is there any chosen one characters you didn't like? -Yup. I do. Lucille is one of the females I found her very annoying to read. I couldn't stomach half the stuff she did in the story. Please don't ask why. Although close at the end of the series she got a little better. She was like the opposite of Brandonlee. He looks like he was very nice in the beginning of the series but a nut behind the scenes and at the end where he dies.
