AngelCake here, my real name is Jamie G. I work on josei illustrations. I enjoy drawing 80s and 90s illustrations and sometimes 70s. I love Kawai Japanese things even if I am an adult with children. I love medieval and space stuff Previous name @Red_Owl12/@azamisnow.

I was born in America.  I was the first one out of my family to started drawing and at a very young age. It wasn't really because Sailor Moon was my first anime at 2 years old. It was because when I was in preschool, they had it in an elementary school. I remember this teenager was showing everyone she can draw Sailor Moon on stage. That day I said to myself "I can draw better". Ever since then I been drawing. Yes, there was points in my life I believe I can't do it even know. When I was a girl. was so upset I was getting books out of how to draw shoujo. I stopped looking at them because they weren't goanna show me what I want.  Really in reality you post to develop your own art style.

To be honest I never relay on them books. Its because some say you can't do this and that when drawing. Some claim they can't have any names but Japanese and that's not true because of characters like Chun-Li, Godchild characters you get me? Some books claim girls have to be all the same height around same age and weight and not true in real life. Anything can be art is what I believe in. Tell yourself there is no right or wrong in what your manga art style looks like. It's your own art. 

My favorite anime is Cardcaptor Sakura. I love Clamps art so much. So very cute and Sakura is so adorable. I mainly like classic anime/shoujo. Not so much into new anime because I am so classic. 

You might already know about my medieval obsession. I really love the Legendary journeys Hercules and Xena the Warrior Princess.

Dean The Warrior

Is any of the characters based on anyone you know in real life? - No. The only one that is based off anyone is Jenny and Nathaniel. I met these people in real life was talking weird like that about their son was a God and kept talking some Sea God. It's kind of the plot idea I used for this story. No, I do not talk to these people anymore because they were in some weird cult.

Where the character ideas came from? - Most my characters appearance came from Resident Evil because I love the series. I can tell you my character Chuck is Steve Burnside inspired but the southern voice. Jill's name came from Jill. Same with Rebecca. Vikki's dad Victor is David King. I think it's funny that Vikki has the same hairstyle as Shigure when he is not wearing his kimono. Dean's hairstyle kind of reminds me of Jadeite and Wiegraf and Dean is not even a villain. Leeaan appearance from Ashley Quinlan and Grant appearance came from Ralf from Kof and name came from Slade son Grant.

Did any of the characters had other names before the names were decided? - Yes, Veronica's name used to be named Bianca. Sylvie named used to be Sadie. Katrina used to be named Jayme. Dusty used to be named Lance. Karen used to be named from Diane but changed it for Paul's decided wife because of Dean's name is the same as Diane.  

Why I choose the year 1997 to be the year the Sea God comes? - Chose the year because at end of February and beginning of March there was this flood that happen in Ohio at the Ohio river in New Richmond. 12 inches of rainfall over a short period of time.
