~Chapter Ten~
Leeann wasn't sure what to do. She didn't want Jill to die or herself. She closed her eyes and lets her sword appear. "W-What?" Jill was puzzled what was going on. Leeann uses the sword to destroy both monsters. "W-Where did that sword come from?" Jill asks Leeann.
"I..." Leeann wasn't sure how to respond. Moa flew over to them.
"What the?! What is that?! Another monster?!" Jill asks and backed away.
"Don't be alarmed. I am 'Moa', I will not harm you. In fact, I want to speak with you."
"Speak with me?" Jill seemed more confused about what was going on. "I must be dreaming! Yeah that’s it!" Jill tried to pinch herself, but it hurt. It was no dream.
"Jill, this isn't a dream. I been chosen to fight these monsters that follow the Sea God, and they send them ugly monsters out. Me along with some others are supposed to stop the Sea God from coming to Earth, if not destroy it." Leann tried to explain to her friend.
"You got to be kidding me, right?" Jill couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"It's no joke, and you. You are one too. A chosen one." Moa tells Jill.
"Uh... no thank you. I should get home and bandage this up." Jill just wanted to go. Some more monsters jumped down in front of her.
"Close your eyes and your weapon will appear to you." Moa tells her.
"My what?!" Jill wasn't sure what to do. A monster was about to hurt her and Leeann got in front of her in time and stabbed it. Another one came over to Jill and was just about to attack.
“Hurry, close your eyes Jill!” Moa yells.
She didn't want to be hurt anymore so she followed the advice of Moa. She closes her eyes. A whip appears in her hands. She opens her eyes and sees it. "H-How did this appear to me?" Jill asks.
"Just use it!" Leann tells Jill. Jill did. She uses her whip to hit the monsters in front of her and they disappeared.
"Where did those things go?" Jill asks.
"We got rid of them. I am so glad you're a chosen one like me! Finally, another girl! I don't want to work with Dean and that loser Vikki." Leann says.
"Dean and Vikki are ones too?" Jill asks. Leeann nods.
"Yes, they are. But they aren't good to me. They aren't strong like I am, and they can't even tell when a monster is out. Pathetic, if you ask me!" Jill laughed a little.
"I guess I can help you out." Jill said to Leeann. "I need to go home and cover this up." Jill's weapon disappeared, and Leeann's did as well. "I want to know why I am chosen, though."
"I can tell you. Moa, you can just go." Leeann says. Moa disappeared.
Vikki had gone home. When he got there, he saw someone going into the basement. He quickly followed. When he got down there, he saw the dead bodies of his parents. "W-What?!" He didn't understand it. Why did he see them now, when he hadn't seen them before? He notices there were two men with a hooded cloak in the corner of the room.
"Hello, Vikki." One of the men said.
"Who the hell are you?! Both of you?!" Vikki asks rudely. He was glaring at the men.
"Don't you recognize me? I am the one who told you not to fight anymore." The one man who was talking to him began to laugh.
"You mean that wasn't my mother?!" Vikki felt angry at this man.
"That is correct. We both are the Sea God followers." The man says.
“And he has ordered me to kill you." The other man smiles devilishly. "We don't want you changing your mind about fighting. We want you to die painfully and regret ever trying to go against the Sea God, King Sir Vik. You can join your parents' souls and be a part of the Sea God."
"YOU BASTARD! YOU PRETENDED TO BE MY MOM!" Vikki's sword appeared, and he charged at one of the men. The man disappeared and reappeared in another spot in the room. The other man disappeared, leaving them fighting. "STAND STILL SO I CAN STAB YOU!"
"You think I would really let you stab me with that puny little sword?" The man laughs. "NO, I have something for you." A monster appeared in the basement. "Attack him!" Vikki got his sword ready to fight the monster. "He is tougher than my other monsters. This one is like three monsters combined into one. I am sure he would kill you." The man disappeared. The monster was about to attack Vikki. He stabs it. The monster hits Vikki and he got swung across the room.
"That won't work!" The monster laughed. Vikki got up.
"Dammit." He didn't want to ask Dean for help. Dean was hurt. It was all up to him to defeat this monster. Moa sensed the monster attacking Vikki. He appeared to Jill and Leeann who just made it to Jill's home.
"Uh... do you mind?" Leeann asks him. "What if Jill's parents saw you?"
"My parents aren't home now. It's okay." Jill tells Leeann.
"I sense a monster attacking Vikki. It's more powerful than some of the other monsters. You need to help vikki.. He can’t fight it alone."
"You think I don't sense that? I do, I just think it's pointless to help that idiot." Leeann says to Moa. "Why don't you fight?"
"I am not much of a tough fighter." Moa admits.
"I'll help Vikki." Jill tells Moa. "Take me to him."
"You can't do that! Fine! I'll go too!" Leeann didn't really want to go, but she gave in anyways. Moa takes both of them and appears in Vikki's basement.
"I don't need help!" Vikki yelled at Moa. He then noticed Jill there. "What is she doing here?"
"She is part of you all now. Work together." Moa tells them. Leeann and Jill closed their eyes, and their weapons appeared in their hands. Jill uses her whip to grab the monster by its leg and makes it trip.
"I got it!" She smiled. The monster got up and took Jill's whip along with her and threw her across the room.
"JILL!" Leeann felt worried about her friend. She glares at the monster and uses her sword to stab it in its eye.
"AHH! MY EYE! YOU LITTLE BITCH!" The monster slaps Leeann, and she falls to the floor. Vikki runs over to the monster and stabs it from behind. The monster was glaring and extremely mad. "DAMN!" He shouts and grabs a hold of Vikki and throws him now. The monster still had Vikki's sword in his back.
"He really is tough..." Leeann says, staring at the monster.
"That damn thing stole my sword!" Vikki says angrily. The monster laughs and uses his body to spit the sword out. Almost hitting Jill with it. She quickly dodged it. Vikki got up and grabbed his sword.
"I feel so weak against this!" Jill thought. She was new and didn't know what she was doing, but earlier she felt tougher. This monster was harder to defeat than the ones she saw earlier that day. Moa felt worried about the three of them. Vikki charged at the beast, and at the same time, Leeann did. Jill uses her whip to tie it around the monster. At the same time, Leeann and Vikki both stab the monster. The monster turns to dust.
"We did it!" Leeann said happily to Jill.
"I helped too!" Vikki got mad.
"Yes, we did do it." Jill smiles back at Leeann. "This seems hard, but... I want to help out if it's for the greater good."
"Are you willing to help out too, now?" Moa asks Vikki.
"I guess I have no choice." Vikki mumbles.
"Now I want to get back with Jill! We were going to discuss nail polish shades!" Leeann says to Moa. Moa disappears with Jill and Leeann. Vikki looks down at the floor and then back up.
"My mom never spoke to me. My mom is gone. She really is gone... I truly believed my mom had come back." Vikki looks around and noticed his parent's bodies have disappeared again. "Where are they?!" Vikki ran upstairs and went looking for his parents. He first ran into their bedroom and didn’t see them, then ran down the hall and noticed them. He found them in the living room. In the spots, they died. Tears ran down his face. "Mommy... Daddy..." Vikki mumbles, staring at them. He walks over to the bodies. The room stank, but he didn't care. "Mom, I can't believe it. You were going to have another baby, and that bastard had to shoot you. I think if that man didn't shoot you both... You both would've finally made up. I can’t believe the Sea God has both my parents' souls and my unborn sibling. I promise I’ll free them."
Vikki felt sad. He felt like he didn't know much about what to do anymore. He couldn't hide this anymore in the world. He didn't want to get into trouble, but he didn't know what to do. He had to tell.
Vikki left his house and went next door. The only person he felt like he could talk to right now was Paul. His best friend's dad.
